What is a CareBuddy?
A CareBuddy is a trained/verified, non-clinical human assistant who can accompany a patient, help navigate hospital processes and keep the family informed.
Can a CareBuddy meet me at the hospital?
Yes. One service mode is Meet at Hospital, subject to launch availability.
Can a CareBuddy accompany me from home?
Yes. Accompany from Home is part of the CareBuddy service model, subject to launch availability.
Is a CareBuddy a doctor or nurse?
No. CareBuddy provides non-clinical assistance. Clinical decisions remain with qualified healthcare professionals.
Can my family receive updates?
Samay Care is designed to help families stay informed about the healthcare journey, subject to the service and technology available at launch.
Is Samay Care available in my city?
Samay Care is launching city by city. Visitors can submit their interest to help prioritize launches.
Which cities does Samay Care currently serve?
Samay Care is launching first in Delhi NCR — Delhi, Gurugram (Gurgaon), Noida and Faridabad. Requests are welcome from other Indian cities too, and help us decide where to launch next.
Can a CareBuddy help with hospital registration and queues?
Yes. Registration, tokens and queue assistance are part of the non-clinical, practical support a CareBuddy can provide during a hospital visit.
Can a CareBuddy accompany an elderly parent to the hospital?
Yes. CareBuddies can accompany family members of any age, including elderly parents, either by meeting them at the hospital or accompanying them from home.
How do I book a CareBuddy?
Samay Care is in pre-launch. You can share your interest and city through our request form, and we'll be in touch as service becomes available in your area.
How much does a CareBuddy cost?
Pricing hasn't been published yet — it will be shared as Samay Care launches. Submitting your interest doesn't commit you to anything.
Can I request a CareBuddy for someone else, like a parent?
Yes. Many requests come from a family member arranging assistance on behalf of a parent or relative rather than for themselves.
